Through the short video format »Playtime (1:30),« members of the German Artists’ Association offer insights into their artistic practices and working processes within the artistic space. This format concludes the three-part project series, which also includes »Wallpaper« and »Travelling Books.« 67 videos are presented in a randomly arranged order in the German Artists’ Association’s project space in Berlin.

In a maximum of 90 seconds, artists show what they are working on, what they are exploring, and what their artistic processes look like. The invitation to participate was deliberately kept open: whether a tour of their own studio, a camera pan across samples and sketches, or an independent cinematic experiment—all formats that establish a connection to the artist’s own practice were welcome. As a result, »Playtime (1:30)« brings together diverse media, working methods, and perspectives. Viewed as a whole, the contributions interrelate and offer a multifaceted insight into the members’ artistic practice.

Selected contributions will also be on view on the German Artists’ Association’s Instagram account and YouTube channel.
